What does the term ‘Dog’ mean in Stock Trading?

? Qu? means t? terms ‘dog’ means in the reserve of Commerce. I am a student of 1st year you finance and I always hear people saying: “Do not buy this population? N, is a dog” or “Do not invest your money in this population? N, is a dog.” . . Thank you “to your response.

    It means they don’t like the stock, comparing it to a mangy old dog nobody would want to be close to for any reason at all.

    The term is usually used to mean that the stock is a significantly worse performer than average.
